Some places live in your imagination for years. You see them in documentaries, fishing shows, and even video games, and you wonder what it would be like to experience them with your own eyes.

For me, the Amazon has always been one of those places.

And now, it’s finally going to happen.

In just a couple of weeks, I will begin another incredible journey—this time deep into the Brazilian Amazon. After experiencing the wild beauty of Alaska earlier this year, I am about to visit a completely different world: the rainforest, the jungle, and one of the most legendary fishing destinations on Earth.

For seven days, I will be deep in the Amazon jungle, targeting some of the most incredible freshwater species in the world. Giant peacock bass, redtail catfish, piranhas, and many more epic Amazon fish are waiting.

These are the species and places I have admired for years while watching fishing documentaries and shows such as Jeremy Wade’s River Monsters. The Amazon has always felt almost unreal—a place of mystery, adventure, and legendary fish. Soon, I will finally experience it for myself.

This trip is not only a personal adventure. It will also be an opportunity to test the waters for something exciting that will be offered by Global Fisherman in the future: unforgettable Amazon fishing experiences for fellow anglers who share the same dream.

It has already been an incredible year. Alaska helped me unlock one of my biggest fishing dreams, and now, in the very same year, I am heading toward another one—the wild and mysterious Amazon.

I am incredibly excited to experience the jungle, the wildlife, the fishing, and everything this legendary place has to offer. Most of all, I am excited to share this journey with all of you.

Hopefully, my next blog post will be filled with unforgettable impressions, incredible catches, and maybe even the beginning of a new dream adventure that Global Fisherman will be able to share with anglers in the future.
