Martin Lav is a 14-month-old boy diagnosed with Schinzel-Giedion syndrome, a severe condition affecting various body systems.
There are only about 50 to 80 reported cases of Schinzel-Giedion syndrome worldwide. Research and resources are limited, but together we can help Martin live a better tomorrow.
As we sat across from Martin and his parents, we quickly realized this was a story about remarkable strength.
When we learned about Martin’s condition, we knew we wanted to help him and his family in the battle for his life. As part of our Hook of Hope Initiative, Global Fisherman sponsored a full-day fishing event and bazaar in Belgrade, Serbia, on September 21, 2023. The gathering of the community in support of little Martin and his family was a resounding success. We are so grateful to the sponsors, donors, and our friends and family who supported the event.
